// main proposal
our main design proposal was the first idea we had, which we further polished and developed. this would be an installation with two intertwined components: a website based on camera recognition and a selection of objects representing the six basic human emotions: anger, surprise, happiness, fear, sadness and disgust. the user would show one of the objects to the camera when prompted, leading them to a new page which contains clips of videos selected from the openimages collection which pertain to that emotion. our aim is to enhance the confusing emotions expats feel upon settling into a new country, and reassuring them that what they feel is valid and normal.

chris' notes: i am not too sure what else to include on this page, so apologies if it is too empty.
